Celestial Art Curation House Artists

  • Christina Angelos

Christina Angelos is an abstract painter whose work is an exploration of the subconscious memory of the mystical beauty of the seas surrounding the Greek Islands. Using bold abstract lines and shapes, Christina depicts what can't be seen through our physical eyes, but through the eyes of the soul. The work depicts the eternal tranquil feeling of being submerged in the sea.

Being second generation Greek Orthodox, Christina infuses the philosophies of the Ancient Greeks into the meaning of each unique piece.

  • Jen Diver

Painting is a way for me to express gratitude and hope as I navigate the seasons of life. I began painting shortly after my oldest son was diagnosed with a rare disease. Painting gave me a place of peace to process what was happening. Taking courses to learn new techniques was a distraction in the best way. After my son’s successful treatment, I found myself overflowing with gratitude, hope, joy, and peace, and those emotions found their way onto the canvas.

  • Christine Gebauer

Christine Gebauer is an intuitive artist who paints as a meditative practice. Painting allows her to tap into her intuition and divine inspiration in a never ending process of growth and discovery. Christine founded Celestial Art Curation in 2023 to bring together art enthusiasts and artists to build meaningful connections and art collections.

  • Sherman Khan

Sherman Khan is a self-taught artist and photographer from the Philippines and now working in Chicago. Sherman is an abstract artist. He began painting in search of self-expression and more profound connection with both life and himself.

He more frequently finds his art being influenced by internal feelings or emotional connections he holds with other humans. He often refers his work as a visual journal.

  • Lauren Ottley

Lauren Ottley is an abstract, figurative and literary artist based in the Chicago area. Lauren's art evokes emotional responses and the connection to our own lives and the stories we tell ourselves. The notion that art is a vibrational messenger to those who need it most, including the artist herself, is something incorporated in every piece.

Her work is rearranging her life story from a literary sense to a visual one and incorporating many stories that other women have shared from professional hairdressing for 19 years. Her work has been exhibited in galleries in Chicago. She has collectors across the country and abroad.

  • Kate Pryor

Kate Pryor combines her experience in fine art and interior design to create harmonious abstract paintings that explore themes of time, memory, and dreams.

Kate Pryor’s creative process is a dance between order and chaos. She lays plans, but does not micromanage the creative spirit. She coaxes structure from spontaneous mark making, in conversation with a piece as it moves towards a vision.

Guided by wabi-sabi philosophy, Pryor embraces irregularity, imperfection, and change. Nothing is perfect; nothing is permanent. She sees beauty in this, and she feels freedom as well.

  • Lizzie Selle

“I have connected with art and design for as long as I can remember, which drew me to a decade-long career in fashion design, marketing and merchandising.

It wasn’t until I was healing from injuries from a car accident that I first discovered my delight for painting with bold colors and heavy textures. My work is strongly rooted in the aesthetics of joy and my greatest pleasure is creating custom artwork that inspires and lifts my clients’ spirits every day.”

  • Lois Stone
