Christina Angelos is an abstract painter whose work is an exploration of the subconscious memory of the mystical beauty of the seas surrounding the Greek Islands. Using bold abstract lines and shapes, Christina depicts what can't be seen through our physical eyes, but through the eyes of the soul. The work depicts the eternal tranquil feeling of being submerged in the sea. 

Being second generation Greek Orthodox, Christina infuses the philosophies of the Ancient Greeks into the meaning of each unique piece.

She hosts watercolor painting workshops in the Western Suburbs of Chicago, where she teaches her students about how to live a life of sustained happiness while they paint.
