“Bodies In Pull” by Lauren Ottley and Alicia Urbanski

$12,000.00

Original painting co-created by house artist Lauren Ottley and guest artist Alicia Urbanski.

66×102” (5.5×8.5 feet) mixed media on canvas. Offered unframed.

  • “Bodies in Pull” examines the tension created when separate forces move toward one another under mutual attraction. Distinct artistic perspectives engage in a visual negotiation, maintaining independence while responding to shared momentum. Expansive scale and layered gestures evoke movement, resistance, and surrender across the surface, suggesting both closeness and strain. The work reflects the gravitational dynamic — where connection exists as an active force, continuously shaping proximity, balance, and relational space.

Shared Gravity is a large-scale, co-created collection exploring the tension, trust and harmony between two distinct artistic voices. Developed in collaboration, the work examines how separate styles, perspectives, and creative instincts can orbit the same conceptual center without losing individuality.

Each piece reflects the push and pull of contrast — structure and fluidity, boldness and restraint, control and surrender. Rather than blending into sameness, both artists maintain their visual identities, allowing the dialogue between their approaches to become the focal point. The scale of the work amplifies this interaction, inviting the viewer to physically experience the weight, movement, and magnetism embedded within the compositions.

At its core, Shared Gravity is about connection — the invisible force that draws people, ideas, and energies into alignment. It explores what happens when two creative forces hold their own while choosing to remain in orbit together
